Booking Fee

50% of the Event key :non-refundable booking fee is due in order to secure the location and date of our services. This Booking Fee will be deducted from
the total cost listed on the client’s Invoice. The Booking Fee is non-refundable under any circumstance and can be paid by check with a signed contract. 

To Reserve a Date

The Booking Fee, a signed Contract and a signed Rules and Regulations of the Park is due to
Lover’s Key Adventures and Events before any date will be reserved. Once all three items are given to Lover’s Key Adventures and Events.

Final Payment

Final payment is due 2 weeks prior to your event. 

Alcohol Policy

Alcohol is not permitted on State Park property for daily Park guests during daylight hours; however, permission for alcohol to be consumed at an Event may be granted by the State Park Manager and Lover’s Key Adventures and Events. LKAE can provide a list of approved Liquor Vendors for any type of event.

Rentable Items

Items must be rented through Lover’s Key Adventures and Events for the Event site from the Event Pricing List. Don’t see something on our list? Just ask! No request is too great or too small for our Event Team! Lover’s Key Adventures and Events must have final approval on any items being brought into the State Park to ensure that all park guide lines are followed.

Transportation

All guests will ride the tram to and from the parking lot and the South Beach tram stop area.  we Recommend hireing Transportation to transport Guests to and from the state park if possible.

Packaging Fees

All Clients must pick a Wedding Package to begin with. This fee will cover time and expenses of organizing vendors, equipment, labor, coordinating vehicle traffic to and from the beach and assuring that the event meets all the park parameters for approved activities. Along with some set rentals to ensure a beautiful wedding. A Package Fee is a set charge determined staff required for set up, take down and oversight as well as electrical requirements and duration of the event. Please take careful consideration when picking a Wedding Package based on what you would like.

Department of Environmental Protection Fee (20% DEP Fee)

To ensure that Lovers Key State Park stays in its more beautiful form, a DEP fee is attached to all Weddings. This goes straight to the State to help with protecting and preserving our beautiful park. There are no Fire works, Sparklers, glow sticks or nuts in shells such as Pistachios, peanuts, unless they are previously shelled.

All Keys are subject to a 6.5% Florida Sales Tax and an 20% Department of Environmental Protection Fee*

All other pricing; chairs, tables, linens, arches and/or decorations etc. will be presented in an initial proposal after meeting or speaking with the client to understand the unique specifics for each Bride and Grooms needs. Additional Fees for setup and cleanup may be added based on the décor chosen. No items listed on the Event Price List may be brought into the park by the client, they must be rented through NRM Unless Discussed otherwise with Written Permission.

Note: We are always happy to work with any vendor of your choice. Our first priority when contracting with any of our preferred vendors, however, is the best price and service for you; our client. Certain Vendors may require extra fees for the Client. Please contact NRM for more information.

Lover’s Key Adventures and Events and Lover’s Key State Park are always concerned with keeping the park in its most natural, beautiful state. There for we observe the mandatory Nesting Seasons.

Sea Turtle Nesting Season May 1st to October 31st

This is considered Sea Turtle Nesting Season on any South West Florida Beach. During that period of time, the park observes the “lights out” mandate of 9:00p.m. That means that all activity on the beach (including clean up) must be completed by 9:00 p.m. All events must end by 8:00 p.m. and clean up must begin. Please discuss with our Event Coordinator different options for your events during that time.

Shore Bird Nesting Season March 1st to May 31st

During this period of time, Mid Beach will have sections marked off for Shore Bird Nests. Locations will not be determined until that time. Area will be restricted.
